We all know that Windows 8 is a NOT a universally loved operating system. After riding a wave of popularity with Windows 7, people were not enthralled with the changes that Microsoft forced onto users on Windows 8. Admittedly, as a person who owns both a Windows 8 touch PC and a Windows 8 tablet, the 8.1 update has addressed a lot of the pain points of the OS, and the upcoming updates look promising. With that said, there is still a lack of quality apps. The Windows store is littered with tons and tons of crap. A lot of it defeats the purpose of having an app store.
