Nexus 5 HDR Camera shots (Android 4.4.2) *Updated with new snapshots on 1/7/14*



These stills have all been captured with a Nexus 5 on HDR+ mode on android 4.4.2 with low lighting both outside and indoors.  They are completely unedited and there is no flash on HDR+ mode.  These are simply a reference point for those of you out there who are curious about the low light picture quality on this phone.  Feel free to discuss your tips and tricks for better picture quality in the comments.  As for my opinion, the stock camera is serviceable and while the red and yellow are a little too strong for my taste, it can easily be remedied in any photo editing program.  To view in full quality just right click on the picture and choose "Open link in new tab."

Retron 5 hacked to launch RetroArch and play ROMS off your SD card

It appears that a someone going by the screenname of  RetroN Labo  on Youtube has successfully hacked the Retron 5 console to run the full version of  Retroarch.  In the video shown, various emulators that are not part of the original firmware are playable including the PC Engine, Playstation One, Nintendo DS, and Wonderswan.  As the stock firmware from the Retron 5 is programmed to load games from an original cartridge when it is inserted, this hack appears to run ROM and ISO files, most likely from the SD card slot built into the back of the console. In most of instances shown in the video, emulation appeared to run smooth, and the games previewed looked playable.
